Pre/Postnatal Exercise

s a Fitness Professional certified through ACE (the American Council on Exercise), I have been teaching Prenatal and Postnatal Exercise for the past 33 years. I have lectured on the subject on 4 continents, including 6 times at the prestigious IDEA International Convention for Fitness Professionals in the US. I am also a Certified Pilates and Yoga Instructor.

In addition to teaching Prenatal and Postnatal Fitness classes, I give workshops on the subject to certified fitness professionals to enable them to teach these classes in their communities. I also specialize in working with women who have diastasis recti (separated abdominal muscles after birth).

Pregnant in the Park:

During the summer months - try "Pregnant in the Park" - a FUN, safe, energizing, cross training outdoor workout for Jerusalem women in all stages of pregnancy. The class includes 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise,
and 30 minutes of strength and flexibility exercises, including Yoga and Pilates especially suited to the needs of pregnant women. Drop in payment options (40 NIS per class) - no long term commitment. Tuesdays at 5.00 p.m. with instructor Rachelle Oseran, a Certified Fitness Professional with 33 years of teaching experience (she co-directed Great Shape at the YMCA in Jerusalem for 23 years), a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and a Certified Birth Doula.

Prenatal Yoga:

A unique and effective flow to build strength and focus and to connect with yourself, your baby and your changing body in a safe and supportive environment. In addition to relieving common pregnancy discomforts such as fatigue, back pain, insomnia, nausea and other aches and pains, this class will give you a wealth of birth wisdom to inspire confidence as you prepare for your baby's birth.
